Introduction

These terms apply to any person accessing the website www.fiinu.com (“Website") and/or the Fiinu app on iOS and Android ("App") (together "the Platforms"). These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you if you want to access the Platforms.

By using the Platforms, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't want to be bound by these terms, then you should not access the Platforms.

These terms are between you and Fiinu Limited ("we" and "us"). We own and operate the Platforms.

Depending on the products or services you use, you might have agreements with other companies within the Fiinu group of companies. You will always see which company provides each service in the relevant terms. To use and access the App, you must have a valid account with us.

Fiinu's Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy also apply to you. The Privacy Notice gives details of how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information, and your rights around this, and our Cookie Policy gives details of how we use cookies, and similar technologies in connection with the Platforms.

Access to the Platforms

We do not guarantee that the Platforms, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted, or that they'll be free from bugs or viruses. From time to time, access to the Platforms may be interrupted, suspended or restricted, including because of a fault, error or unforeseen circumstances or because we are carrying out planned maintenance.

We may suspend or disable your access to the Platforms if we consider it reasonable to do so, for example if you breach these terms. We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage you may suffer because of the Platforms being unavailable at any time for any reason.

You will not attempt to:

  • hack, make unauthorised alterations to gain unauthorised access to, or introduce any kind of malicious code to the Platforms by any means;
  • reverse engineer or decompile (whether in whole or in part) any software available through the Platforms unless you're allowed to do this by law;

  • use the Platforms for any purpose that is unlawful;
  • use the Platforms in any manner that damage, disable or disrupts their operation;
  • transmit any material that is harmful or offensive;
  • engage in any fraudulent activities or misrepresent yourself.

Nothing in the above will prevent you from engaging in responsible disclosure if you find any security vulnerabilities in our Platforms.

The Platforms may contain links or references to third party websites and apps. Any links or references are provided for your information and convenience only. Fiinu has no control over third party websites and apps and accept no legal responsibility for any content, material or information contained in them. The display of any link and reference to any third party website or app does not mean that we endorse that third party's website, apps, products or services. Third party websites and apps may also regulate your use of their website or app or treat your data differently to Fiinu. You should review any relevant privacy and terms of use related documents before using any third party websites and apps.

We may alter or remove the content of the Platforms at any time. However, whilst some of the content may be out of date at any given time, we are under no obligation to update it. Fiinu does not guarantee that the Platforms, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes, devices and platform to access and use the Platforms. In particular, you should take steps to protect your devices from viruses.

Registration

Who can register with Fiinu?

You'll need to be a UK resident, at least 18 years old, with an email address and an active mobile device.

Product and services terms & conditions.

Please keep in mind that, if you decide to use one of our products or services later, you will need to agree to the specific terms & conditions for these too. You will be provided with the specific details in due course during your journey.

These Terms of Use will be deemed to have been incorporated into those specific Terms & Conditions. If there's any inconsistency or conflict between these Terms of Use and the specific Terms & Conditions for one of the products or services you have taken out with us, those Terms & Conditions will prevail.

Data accuracy and use

You should inform us via the Website as soon as possible if any information provided by you or in your account changes or if you become aware of any errors.

The content on the Platforms is provided for information only and should not be taken as advice.

Fiinu will always try to keep information on the Platforms up-to-date and accurate, but we cannot guarantee this.

Intellectual property rights

Fiinu is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in www.fiinu.com , the Platforms and the material published on them. The Platforms and the content on them are protected by copyright, and you should only make personal use of the Platforms and the content.

You will retain ownership of all copyright in data you upload or submit to the Platforms. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, copy, distribute or publish and send this data in any manner (subject to our Privacy Notice).

Changes to the Terms of Use

We will make changes to these Terms of Use which we reasonably believe will not put you at a disadvantage, or because we need to respond in a fair way to:

  • make them easier to understand;
  • reflect changes in general law or decisions or recommendations made by a court, any regulator or ombudsman which we must follow (for example the Financial Ombudsman Service, if applicable);
  • reflect changes in regulatory requirements;
  • include new industry guidance and codes of practice; and/or
  • reflect changes to the functionality of our technology or the way we operate it.

Other terms

Fiinu may transfer rights and obligations under these terms to someone else.

You cannot transfer any of your rights and obligations under these terms to anyone else.

These terms and our dealings with you before you enter into this agreement are governed in accordance with the law of England & Wales. Unless otherwise agreed, the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you reside will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes that arises out of or in connection with these terms.

If a specific term in this document is not unenforceable against you, it would not affect any of the other terms. Nothing in these terms will give any person, other than you and us, any rights under this agreement.
